ASSESSMENT
A Pro Performance assessment consists of an in-depth scientific physiological evaluation, a full psychological profile and nutritional analysis specifically tailored for the elite racing driver. It is the starting point for Pro Performance training programmes and intervention plans as well as our first indication of a drivers strengths and weaknesses on and off the track. Typically the assessment will consist of some / all of the following tests depending on the clients requirements:

Physiological Evaluation:
• Anthropometric Assessment - human measurements such as height, weight, limb measurements, etc
• Body Composition Test - body fat and lean muscle density
• Urine Analysis
• Injury, Flexibility and Posture Analysis
• Blood Pressure, Lung Function and Heart Rate Tests
• VO2 Max Test - breath-by-breath analysis of oxygen consumption to measure aerobic capacity and stamina levels
• Blood Lactate Profile - assessment of endurance capacity and the basis of heart rate training programmes
• Assessment of Strength Endurance - lower back, abdominals, core, upper-body and neck strength endurance
• Heat Stress Test
• Steering Wheel Simulator Test

Psychological Profile:
• Mental Skills Assessment - initial assessment of key mental skills required in motorsport
• One-to-One Psychological Profile- assessment of client background, race day preparations and goals in motorsport
• Reaction and Hand Speed Tests

Nutrition Analysis:
• Full Nutritional Profile - examining factors including race day nutrition, training and recovery, fluids and supplement usage, etc
• Hydration Test - measurement of cellular fluid levels to assess whether the driver is adequately hydrated
• Metabolic Rate - a direct measurement of the daily energy requirements of a driver
The results of an assessment are explained to the driver so that they gain a complete understanding of where their strengths and weaknesses are and what they need to do to improve their preparations off the track.
