TRAINING CAMPS

A training camp with Pro Performance generally involves taking a small group of drivers away for between 3 and 7 nights to an environment where they can completely focus on training and nutrition. The main benefits of a training camp are:

• A big pre-season push to make sure fitness is as good as possible and allows the driver to get focussed on the first race

• A mid-season break to re-charge the batteries and boost fitness levels during a busy time

• An opportunity to change nutritional habits in a short space of time

• Warm-weather / high altitude acclimatisation

• A kick-start to a new winter training programme at the end of the season

• Group cohesion if a camp is organised for a specific team

 

Pro Performance have two available venues for training camps; Devon in the UK and Naples, Florida. Although completely different training environments, both have proved to be excellent locations for driver development, whatever time of the year.
